General Information

Irlam and Cadishead are communities situated to the north west of Manchester, with the benefit of being near to the Cheshire border. The main Liverpool Road runs through both Irlam and Cadishead allowing easy access to both Manchester and Warrington and with the expansion of the Cadishead Way by pass, Liverpool Road in Cadishead will further benefit tremendously.

The area also boasts an ideal location for countryside living, as we have the largest farming community in Salford, open spaces and parkland, together with being within easy access to one of the most exciting cities in the country with plenty for everyone to experience, from a vibrant nightlife to cultural venues and of course shopping!!!!

Irlam and Cadishead has a wealth of primary schools and one secondary school together with numerous sports clubs, recreational grounds, public parks, churches, 2 public libraries, swimming baths and fitness centre. Situated on Fairhills Road is a 24 hour hypermarket with many facilities, and a large variety of local shops and amenities along Liverpool Road.

Over recent years, Irlam and Cadishead has seen extensive redevelopment and improvement, which has been reflected in rising house prices, whilst still offering good value for money.
